We are seeking three individuals to join the Board at this time.

Each new Director will have a term starting November 1st and ending on May 31. Directors may have the option of being elected to the Board in May for a two-year term, or being appointed by the Board for a one-year term.

Each Board Director is required to take on a leadership role in the organization. This looks different for different Directors; sometimes Directors take on a committee or project that needs a Lead and sometimes they come with their own project that furthers the League's mission of defending democracy and empowering voters.

Fill out the Volunteer Leadership Application and email it to our secretary, Samantha Burtch, at secretary@lwvthurston.org. All applications will be attached to the Board Agenda for our meeting on September 19th and the Board will vote on three candidates.
