Needed: Volunteers for Candidate Forums

The League is looking for volunteers to help us with our candidate forums on October 3 & 4. Each volunteer slot is for one hour and each person can choose what role they would like: moderator, timer, greeter, or teleprompter!

Moderators are the only volunteers who are filmed as they ask each candidate the prepared questions, ensure that candidates stay within their allotted time, and redirect candidates as needed.

Timekeepers is the best role for new members! The Timer will start and stop a digital timer to allow each candidate one minute to answer each question. The timer will be set up and ready, is easy to use, and involves pressing only two buttons on the keyboard.

Greeters will be responsible for greeting attendees as they arrive and replenishing snacks and beverages as needed.

The Teleprompter runs the teleprompter for the moderator. They will be working in the sound booth with the TCMedia Staff.
